Ok I have a older super cub before the BNF came out (The red one). I have a DX6i and would like to change my super cub over so I can use my Tx. Do I need to go brushless or just change the ESC, Rx, survos, and battery? Thank you. Also would if be cheaper just to buy a BNF as opposed to changing this one over? Thanks for all the help.

I just did the same thing. Look down at the threads for the one on motors. I listed the parts I bought from HeadsUp RC. It'll cost you $60. And you'll need a good 25c-30c Li-Po.
I flew mine this morning for the first time. DAY & NIGHT DIFFERENCE! Now the Cub will climb! And rolling distance on takeoff is a few feet. Great upgrade.

Did you just use the ESC from. LP cub for get a spektrum rx? $60 isn't bad at all.
