Hi, here is the beginning of my modifications....
Started by modifying battery box by relocating electronics on the side and then cutting the box to place a bigger battery. I glued electronics on the side and just cut a bigger opnening on top of the battery box.
Then I modified the landing gear which already suffered damage on my 1st flight... I glued it back and works great till now! I solodified it with white paper clips.
Then back of the wing, I know it looks ugly for now, my glue turned yellow! But it is a work in progress and will make it nicer at the end!
Now I am planning to reinforce the battery box, I seen couple pictues that it have been ripped out because of the landing gears.... I am just thinking the way I want th struts to be held before doing the mod. I may buy the fishing hooks, seems a nice idea.
Will continue to update my post!
In the mean time, you can wath my 1st flight! I broke a part of the wing!!! Will try to fix one day, also have to work landing! It is so easy on the simulator!
I now finished my battery box modification to add strength to it with basic popsicle sticks, glue and screws. I also attached the wing struts with #3 fishing ball bearing swivel, #2 would be more thighter so the wings wouldn't get that much bending, but once attached to a #2, I don't think it would be easy to remove, was already hard to fit in #3 size.
I also added a nylon screen in the cowl and battery door to prevent dirt during perfect lading!!! And also to prevent water using the floats. I hope airflow will still be ok.

Change plastic of landing gear for aluminium ones, nicer and can also be painted... Much more solid.
