Help with dx6i & orange rx

Looking at the clip, I noticed you turned on the DX6i power before engaging the bind switch.
According to my book on the DX6i, you should engage the bind switch, and hold it, BEFORE you
turn on the transmitter power.
Could this be your problem?

In the video I had to put down the video camera and couldnt show it but I have now been told to send the transmitter back to horizon by my lhs
