Hello! I must say I love this forum. I'm a total newbie, just got a SC DSM RTF a few weeks ago. I've flown it several times and each flight was a blast. Last weekend after at least 15 total flights, I crashed it. No major damage but I did replace the main wing. Now I'm back in the air again. The Super Cub is an awesome airplane. Easy to fly and learn on. Plus you can grow with this plane adding the parachute module and other mods. I look forward to more flying and learning from you pro's here on the forum. THANK YOU for this forum, it has already helped me tons. J. Michael Attachments:

Hello Micheal, and welcome to the club as you found out this hobby is a blast, the cub was my first plane too, it was the red cub that I still fly, but with lipos. I have other planes, but I fly the cub more, as for being a pro I don't think so. I still learn a lot from this form, as will you too. But nuff said, this is just a frendly welcome, enjoy your hobby, and have fun.

Hi micheal, welcome to the most helpingest place for SC pilots and newbies anywhere on the planet. You've found the cub easy to fly, which is great, as you are on the up, as when you crash ( and you will!) you can shrug it off. Keep going, it gets easier, and faster, as you progress further, until, you are quite advanced, and still ask basic questions ( Like me!), until you realise, You can A) join a club, or B) continue solo, perversely crash and burn, and then ask questions on here! PS: I'm not joining a club. I enjoy my 'alone time', just me and the 'planes. I'm sure a club could help endlessly, but I'm not a 'social' person, hobby or not.

Im not a social person either, but I joined a club, I only see the other members, at the meetings or on the field, one thing that I like about being in a club is we have a field desinated for flying, no kids or other people walking or playing, around, and since I don't fly untill Im off work, 7 out of 10 times Im by myself
