Happy (windy) day...finished work. Take the planes out. Squall...a joy to fly, E-hawk - now flies OK after re-balancing, supercub woah! Up and down like a whooors knickers! Tail heavy after re-paint. Back down. More weight at front. Off again. Into wind..rapidly increasing wind! Rapidly increasing gusty wind! More throttle! HAHA! No force of nature can handle MY cub!  Oh bugger! The motors stopped, and my plane is being battered by the wind! Bring it round, nearly there....BUMP! Upshot..burnt out 30 amp esc! Not 100% but I presume fighting against the wind pushed my 9x6 propped 1700KV motor too hard, and the amps went through the roof! Bah....new ESC ordered. You haven't had the last laugh yet nature!!  |

But then you've always been one for pushing your luck, you mad impetuous fool! Me, I cower indoors at the slightest breath of a breeze. You might want to muddle off somewhere they sell wattmeters and learn how to use one?
It's kind of like X-ray for electronics, you get to see and measure how it functions.
