Hi everyone. I just started as a member here and this is my first post. I recently decided to get a little crazy and mod my Super Cub. I purchased a Futaba 7C fasst transmitter and a second receiver. (I also have a T-28 Trojan.) I purchased a 1400kV/350 watt brushless motor/ 25amp esc from hobbycity.com as well as some 2250mAh 3s li-po batteries. here are some pics for all to see.    |

Holy mackerel Voncronin !! You aint even gonna have to strap the wing on it. With 350 watts you got yurself a genuine ROCKET. A video would be fantastic if yur camera man is quick enough. ;D

FWIW, don't believe the Chinese motor specs. I'd start a bit small on the prop. You should have more than enough power. Measure output with a wattmeter if you have one.

I actually am buying a wattmeter here soon. I put an 8x6 prop on it as recommended. It seems to push a lot of air. It actually blew the curtain off of my window. lol
Thanks for the input and I will definately have video of the maiden.

Flew the cub today. Lost the elevator in mid flight and have some repairs to do. I have the parts and it will fly again soon. This thing is super fast and will need to be handled by trained professionals. So I can't fly it. :-)
