So, I hit my first tree, only tree in the area and I manage to hit it, I'm oddly proud of that And here's the damage: And repaired: So all in all, not too bad if I do say so myself, it could've been quite a bit worse - Fuzzy

I usually hit the light poles a bit more oftern than the trees where I fly . Recentully I hit a light pole , struggled to not go to the ground and ended up fighting to fly and hit the pole again , now that was a first . Just some foam damage was the results , still flying happily . I still cannot belive that I hit the poles at all ........but sometimes .

I can imagine light poles to be harder to avoid in some respects. They certainly are on Battlefield 3! Flying along happily enough then BAM! lightpole from nowhere. But I have noticed that the cub is a hardy little thing ;D

Not too bad! I fly at a rugby pitch, and I swear the posts move to where my planes are! So far I've trashed an F16, dented my twinjet and splatted my GWS zero (now looks like a jigsaw but still flies!)

Bin there, done that, fuzzywolf!
You got off lightly, well done.
I like sailing and flying. Put just one rock in the ocean or just one tree in a field and you can guarantee that boat or plane will find them!

where I fly trees are no problem (too far away) the problem is a revean if your plane goes down there, its a climb down a hill thats about 40 to 45 degrees or walk around and its a loooong walk

by the way, my first tree was kinda tall, so the fire department got her down for me The fire department got her down?? As a favour, or did you have to pay them? Tell us more! The only similar example I know is when Dillzio in Australia persuaded his local firemen to deploy their long ladder "as a training exercise" to rescue his SC. There's a video of it on here somewhere. Are you also in the Land of Oz? (I wish SCC members would add their location to their profiles so we can all know where they hail from. Please . . . )
