Just about finished my new DC-3. This is a model of the Chesapeake & Ohio Raolraod's first corporate plane in 1955. I covered it with Oracal white, blue and chrome film. I also added full split flaps, nav and landing lights and steerable tail wheel. Now if spring would get here, I would like to see how it looks in the air. Jim

Very nice, is that the same plane they use in the TV show "Ice Pilots"?

Just took a look at the model as it comes out the box, that truly is an amazing job you have done there. Very nice!

They have flown a DC-3 on Ice Pilots, along with several other older planes.
Thanks for the compliment. The chrome Oracal film really brought this project to life. It is very thin, flexible and easy to use, even on compound curves with a little patients.
