Wow has RC technology changed! 20 some years ago I built my first RC plain, Great Plains PT 40 I think it was called. I never flew it because I was too scared of crash it and ended up selling it... Then I discovered this flying beer cooler! I love it! crashed it 3 times, a little epoxy and packing tape and she’s as good as new. Ouch, and again Ouch!! You appear to have done some great repair work there. Very surprised to see no apparent damage to cowl or prop from two obviously severe impacts. Congratulations on your philosophical attitude. Let's hope she stays in one piece from now on!

Thanks but, the camera resolution isn't the best so you cant see the cracks in the picture. I was surprised the prop didn't break. I'm guessing it was the soft mud in the field that softened the impact. Its frozen now so I may not be so lucky next time.
The strange thing is I think I like fixing it as much as flying it....

I repeat Ouch! Was the one in the top pic built by OCC (Orange County Choppers)! ;D I like it, increased fuse rake, yet keeping the original colour scheme! ;D John
