The drop module is proprietary and ONLY available with the Horizon proprietary ESC/RX or the older LP unit. That means no brushless motor. You HAVE to use their stuff or make your own drop mechanism. Thank you very much for posting this. I have been reading all over the place about mods and upgrades and I do NOT want to lose the drop module feature. I like it and my 4 year old LOVES it. Glad to know this little gem of knowledge. Thank you.  |

With some ingenuity you can make your own after a complete upgrade so it's not very attractive to most folks.
There's a rumor that HZ is putting out and aftermarket module. I couldn't find anything on the website, but I didn't look too hard-not very motivated.
