Hello All, I am looking to upgrade a HZ Super Cub to a brushless motor and ESC. I will be putting on Ailerons or flaps on it as well (just to aid take off and landing on pontoons). I am not looking for an aerobatic plane. I don't care to do knife edges with the SC. I want to be able to fly with pontoons. But I don’t want a ridicules amount of power. I would like it to fly to scale. What electronics would you folks recommend?
Thanks Alaskan

Here is my setup all from HeadsupRc.com It rocks! I pretty much only fly on floats. I love it. A good set-up for the HZ Super Cub is: 450 Sport (includes 4mm prop adapter) 32A Power Up ESC (I used a spare E-flite 30A I had) GWS 1060 prop (2) TP SG90 Servo (typical 9g micro servo) Supercub motor mount they sell I use 3S lipos from 1550-2200mah 20-25C Shipping is wicked cheap as well from headsuprc. I think like 2.00 and I had everything in a couple of days. Then I sold all my stock electronics for 60.00, so I pretty much broke even. Here is my maiden on floats, this is also my brushless system. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AubDOyDHuCEMy setup George
