3D foamies...these are the planes made out of flat foam and can hover. Right? I was watching a guy fly one of these tonight. Are they complicated to fly? Easy to repair? It looked quite attractive because he was flying it in a tiny field.

hi spar, yea i find it attractive, too and have bought a great planes flat out turmoil ( which i havent flown yet ) and a thunder tiger Christen Eagle ( which i have kinda flown a bit ). its not easy.
yes, they are easy to repair - CA glue and tape.......same as the SC.

they are not hard to fly and are very easy to repair. I have several great planes foamies and a few home made. They all are a blast and cheap to fix or buy new. They however are not for the new pilot. Once you get the 4ch planes down they are easy. The "slow" factor is hard to get used to at first. They are capable of slow and fast flight.
