Got a DX6i - must I replace servos / ESC?

My HZ SC came with the FM27.095 radio.

When converting to brushless, I installed a new ESC (Pentium-40A, BEC-3A/5V) and retained the stock servos.

I have now bought a (used) Spektrum DX6i which came with an AR6100 rx.

Not being a techie, I have to ask - Do I need to change my ESC or servos? If so, I would welcome advice on the correct ones to install.

No need to replace the ESC. If the servo's are three wire they'll work. If they are five you will need to replace them. I use Hitec HS 55's on mine. These on the bargain one, working so far.

Your old servos are 5-wire. Won't work.
Get some 9 gram 'standard' 3wire servos. Many kinds available.
