duct taping the cowl

just wondering if the holes on the cowl are there for a reason or can i
cover them with duct tape?
i'm trying to keep the snow out when i crash

Hi keya.
They help to keep everything cool.
Instead of tape, glue some fly screen type of material over the holes on the inside of the cowl. This will keep most of the snow out and allowing air flow to the electronics.

Somebody has done this already, i will try to find the post.
