Hi- I have an older model super cub and I was wondering what it would take to upgrade the whole battery system from NiMH to LiPo. What things I would have to buy to make that happen? What advantages would I see?

That was friendly but outside that (and friendly is important) not a very useful contribution. For your punishment go do some decent RESEARCH and give the guy a USEFUL answer. I'll be watching.......
Short answer, sure you can do it. All the info is in the files-been asked dozens of times before. You will get WAY more performance. The concept is simple, get lipo and charger, pull jumper, prop down. WHICH lipo, and WHICH charger are way more difficult to answer. The prop is easy, 10x6 GWS. Then there is the issue of LVC....
