Hello. Semi-new RC pilot here...been flying for about 9 months. My first plane was a HBZ Champ. It was fun for a while, but I had to upgrade. Sure enough, the HBZ Super Cub caught my eye. I love this plane! Super Cub DSM...never have used the ACT. I just recently bought some GWS micro light wheels, 4", and now I'm just waiting for them to get here. See, I have a 10 acre field, and there are a few semi-flat spots, but the grass is rather thick. Even when mowed, it is bad. Hopefully these new wheels allow me to land without the normal nose-over that has become commonplace for me. Peace...

Welcome aboard, and best wishes for happy flying with your SC.
That's a helluva user name! There must be some logic behind it but I can't figure it out.
Lucky guy to have that field at your disposal.

Yeah, the field is great...if only it weren't hilly and surrounded by trees. It is great having access to my own flying field, but it is like a large rectangle. When landing, the approach takes half the field, and the wind is almost always a crosswind. Still, I feel bad for those flyers that do not have access to a field whenever the wind speed is favorable. Oh, and my username...the board wouldn't read the caps. It's supposed to be Lobe DethFaurt... peace...
