So after 2hrs of flying time on my blade i managed to fly side on from the left side of the field to the right then bk 3lipos later n feeling good...4th lipo up n away 60seconds later flying nose in to the right...disorentated..dumbthumb moment...then bounce smash crash oh nutse.... Damage was feathering shaft bent, main shaft bent, blades, canopy smashed, tail surport broken.... So went to my lhs n spent £40 bought some carbon blades too :-) To my surprise it was easy to fix....and is now ready for a safer flight :-) I must say i dont like the red canopy!!

Those poor things just beat themselves to death when they go down. No gluing and taping, just go buy new parts.

Why go carbon during the learning stage? Breakage, which somehow seems probable, is more expensive. At this stage can tell the difference anyway?
We had a couple guys at our field that would drag down a whole pile of heli stuff and a car battery charging station when they were learning. When they left the field was littered with broken heli blades, which they should have picked up. One guy was in trouble with his wife because he kept dipping into their savings fund for heli parts and batteries. Not for the cheap at heart.

Ah, good deal then. I thought the price would be much higher. Carbon prop blades are 2-4x 'plastic'. They only get used in special applications like my Funjet.
