Fairly new to the RC world and I am enjoying my lp. I got it 2 years ago, flew it for a while and had to go to Afghanistan for a while and am just getting back to it.
The info I find on this board is amaziningly helpful--both in how to repair the cub from pilot error and mods to strengthen against future destruction. My son is also starting to get into it although that has forced me to put off the aileron mod for a bit. Just don't want to put the work in to have him wreck it until he is a better pilot.
Anyway, putting together the shopping list for the aileron and brushless upgrades--again props to the board members for helpfulness and ideas.

Hello and welcome to the cub club. Loads of help and (sometimes useful) advice to be gained for lurking about. Can't understand why you went all the way to Afghanistan, the Taliban know bugger all about the supercub! ( Bet they were no help at all!) Welcome!

You got that right toff! By the by, I did work with a lot of awesome people from the UK when I was over there. They would teach me some phrases of the Queen's English and I would teach them some Texan. Some interesting discussions on Football vs. American Football as well.

AFcub Another newbe to the group here, and in the state next door. I understand they have a big RC flying event right there at the AF Museum each year. What a cool place that would be to fly. I hope to make it over there sometime. Stay safe Jim
