Hello Everyone!
I was wondering how many of you fly your SC at local clubs. I've considered doing this but I really don't know how they will react. I didn't see any electric foamies out there when I use to fly a glow motor. Just curious...
Thanks, Greg

i want exactly welcomed to our local club, they fly alot of giant scale gassers or glow. they said they were concerned about the radio (was 27mzh at the time) and said that the grass was to long for the little wheels. i might sign up when i get a glow plane (because i would have too) but i wont be signing up until then.
i guess it depends on how your local club is, some are pretty open to our little plans and some arnt.

Some clubs are more open than others. There are a lot of reports of people being snubbed and treated poorly when showing up to an air field with a Super Cub. Be prepared. Fortunately I haven't had any negative experiences and have been welcomed to fly my Super Cub. Of course.... they also wanted me to fly their club trainer to try to get me hooked on glow... hehe. Nice folks though.

I was welcomed quite well at the club I belong to. I started with electric's and now have a fleet of nitro's and gassers. I still fly my electrics when I go. The Brio-10 is a eye catcher and most of the nitro/gas guy's have flown it now. They all were amazed and the power and flight times it had. They also drooled at the appearance of it in the sky. Keep an open mind when you go there with your sc. They may be jealous that they too don't have a plane they can toss out their window and fly... I think most of those guy's want one deep inside but won't tell a soul about it.....I mean who wouldn't..right? Kevin

We have two, semi-local clubs, and one is for electric planes only, as it is in an almost urban area (Rockville, MD).
