Hello fellow Super Cub flyers.
After several bad crashes I'm rebuilding/updating some of the components of my Super Cub. I've purchased a new stock brushed motor and I'm replacing the stock receiver/esc combo with an AR500 and an Electrifly C-25 brushed ESC - much like NECubFlyer did in his videos.
My question - the Electrifly ESC comes with several capacitors (two .10 uf (104) and one .047 uf (473)) which need to be soldered between the positive and negative terminals of the motor in order to reduce radio niose.
The new stock motor already has two .10 uf caps and what looks like a transistor soldered between the positive and negative terminals.
Does anyone know if this stock motor setup is sufficent or should I remove/unsolder the stock capacitors and resolder the new capacitors which came with the Electrifly ESC?
I really appreciate any advice you can give.

Stock ones will be fine. That application is not high precisions stuff, just reducing electrical noise from the brushes.
Be aware the LVC on those ESC are set too low for lipo. Do NOT fly to LVC or kiss your lipo goodbye. Read the manual on it, then do the math. [Low-Voltage Cutoff: 0.8 volts per cell NiCd/NiMH 2.75 volts per cell Li-Po]

Understood Flydiver.
I'm reading the manual. I doubt I'll be getting anywhere near the LVC for some time since most of my flights haven't lasted more than 30 seconds. I've spent some time on the FMS Flight Simulator so I think I'm ready to try again.
I'll post my progress.
