Double sided tape....for a motor? Good luck with THAT! I think he meant for the servos. I used double sided carpet tape (the stuff to that is used to stop a rug sliding around on a wooden floor) and it works well. I'm pretty sure that's whats holding the servos in the wing of my Cub and has been since I fitted ailerons.

Double sided tape....for a motor? Good luck with THAT! Double stick tape on the servos! LOL No, I was first going to use epoxy or CA glue. Then thought about using gorilla glue. But I am going to the hardware store this evening to get some silicone. I hope to be back up flying this weekend.

Hooo, well to all and sundry, I use hot melt glue ( actually more like warm melt), for securing pretty much everything! It has the bonus that it removes really easily from EPO/ EPS foam ( although it does rip the sh.it out of depron!) insomuch as it sticks to the servo, rather than the (slightly) greasy foam) Works great, and is definately a fast fix, but does have the minus in that it's heavier than most other glues.

So...I have the silicone caulking, but now I have another question. Should I have bought silicone adhesive instead??? I'm just worried about the strength of this stuff.
