I'm building a new SC from the stock HZ parts - in particular, a new fuselage and tail. (For some strange reason, my originals are falling to pieces . . . . . ) I fancy putting a cartoon character on the fuselage and tail. Having downloaded a couple of pictures from the 'net, I now need to know how to get them onto the plane. Simplest method would be to print them onto paper (or photo paper?), stick them on with Pritt or whatever, and cover with clear packing tape. But for better results I would like to turn the images into stick-on decals and stick them onto the fuselage and tail. I read somewhere that decal-type plastic papers are available for the PC printer but extremely expensive. No thanks, not cost-effective as I only need four small pix. Any ideas, please? (Overseas members please remember I am in the UK .) Also, I can't find a really snazzy cartoon fox online! Anyone, please?

You mean something cool like taking the Old Piper Cub Bear logo and replacing the bear with a fox. Then printing it out in full color on a self adhesive vinyl material in any size you want up to 8.5X11? You mean something like this? Ya, I can do that! ;D Attachments:

Now that is clever!
I am away from home for a week (so doing this on my laptop).
I have two pix on the home PC I would like you to see.
I will PM you when I get back home. Thanks.

Did you ever get these printed, renard? I know the thread is a bit old, but I've recently been asking myself the same question. If so what did you order, and how did you do it? Oh please! Do tell!

In the end, Chris, I did what I suggested in my original post.
I simply stole some cartoon heads from the internet and printed them onto thin photo paper. I flipped the photo images for the other side of the plane, so the heads were looking forwards both sides.
Carefully cut round the outlines. Then stuck them on with Pritt stick.
They look fine and they ain't come unstuck yet!
(Bugger, I forgot to PM Rasterize! Sorry . . . . )
