New to the forum and wanted to share my redesign of the old Piper Cub logo for my Super Cub LP. I really like that old Piper Cub bear logo but I wanted it to reflect the "Super and LP" part more. So I changed the logo by adding Super and LP to it. I then printed them on clear vinyl self-adhesive sheets. Just trim and stick. Could not decide where on the plane I wanted them or what size, so I made some large (1.8” tall) medium (.7” tall) and small (.45” tall). Why so many? Had lots of space on the 12X18 sheet didn’t want to waste any. Besides, the way I fly, I may need them! It's printed in toner so it's plastic ink on platic paper on a foam plane. That should come in handy when I put the floats on. ;D Attachments:

This is awesome! I'm brand new to the site, just bought my first plane, a new Super Cub LP. Have any of these laying around? Evan

Great decal design....why didn't you give a link so others could use ? When one clicks on all it does is enlarge that pic, that is blurry . Just curious.

Don't hold your breath for a reply, as Rasterize hasn't posted on here for nearly two years. He was a nice guy, who - without being asked - designed a great 'Piper Fox' logo for my plane. See here: supercubclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=pantng&thread=4097&page=1#30153I have since put it on my latest Cub. If you want to copy his design from this thread, there is no need to enlarge the image; as you say, it will come out blurred. Right click on the little bear, choose 'Save As', then select where you want to save it (My Pictures, for example). You should then be able to edit the saved image to the required size. Print it onto thin photo paper, cut it out and glue it onto your aircraft - Pritt stick worked for me. (NB: I am assuming that Rasterize will not object to you copying that image. Remember that he owns the copyright. )
