Yeah the 450 3d nice but iv flown n crashed a heli on the sim alltho it was only about 5mins in my lhs but still gave me the heli bug....maybe for xmas :-)
As for ur flying just get more practice on the sim and for real!
Had two real nice flights with the extra bout a hour ago but need more lipos..one lipo only lasts around 4mins n iv only two of them :-(
Had them about a year and used them in the squall/ef16/and extra used to lvc....so used and abused tut tut

Off flying tomorrow morning and maybe in the afternoon as well ( no work ) with the stick so hoping it is nice weather up here in Yorkshire . It was a long long time on the sim to fly a non coaxial heli on the sim with out it turning on to its side on take of but i do not do two bad with them but i am red hot on the sim with planes, i think real life flying it is quite a bit different than on the sim ... well it is for me anyway.. i think i stop thinking in real flying lol.

Iv not got a sim/pc so all my flying is for real :-)
Cant wait to fly/spend £££ on crashing a heli!!
But the mother in laws had a new laptop so she said we can have her old pc yay :-D just need a sim now.

Hi paul, the clear view rc sim is quite good and you can download the demo first so you can see if you like it . To buy it i think it is around the £35 mark but i think it is worth it and it has F/P & C/P helis as well as planes, you can download the HZ super cub for free also but you will need an sim TX or if you have got an USB cable for your oun TX then you can use that... or google FMS rc sim which is a full free download but the graphics are not as good but it works and is ok Look here rcflightsim.com |

Well seeing as wife was at work early i took advantage of an early morning flight with the slow stick, wish i had not bothered !!!!!!!..
I was using a brand new Overlander 2700 mah 25c 2s 7.4 lipo , all was well for once and was having a good flight when smoke was coming from the ss. When it landed ( with a bang ) i soon found out that the lipo had set on fire and also the receiver and esc had gone the same way.
The lipo was held in place by 2 soft Velcro straps and well away from anything that could have caused damage in flight , first time ever this has happened to me .
ps , the ss is not two good as well .

LOL, yeah it was quite something to see ..looked like it had been shot down ..........should of been on camera.Some parts of the slow stick have melted as well !!

Hi Paul, not sure if i was over powered or not but with the motor not drawing much amps i thought it would have been OK . I later found out that it could have been an internal short of the battery that caused the fire, wrote to overlander and got no reply at all and the shop was about just as helpful so we live and learn that no one will warranty a lipo after sale.
