Well i went to weston park model show and what a great weekend :-) 3d heli comp..wow i didnt relise a heli could do such things i want a go :-) So much to buy on the stalls....but so little £s..did find a parkzone extra 300,i had to have it.. Something to practice 3d flying with :-)  |

Just been to penn models and had a go flying a heli on there sim :-) smash smash n another smash...10mins later i got the hang of it n even went inverted..iv got the heli bug...

Got the stupid bug too i test flew the extra yesterday..wheels too small for my grass field so hand launched then.....wtf reverced alirons!!!didn't end well cracked cowl,broken prop snapped 2in of the left wing.. dented my pride..
Back to penn models for two props cowl bigger wheels
All fixed rtf went out again n flew nice once trimed even tho i need to sort expo got it doing knife edge,snap rolls..come into land n ended up bounceing the extra off my arm...how i still dont no,end result another broken prop n cracked cowl"not my new one tho"

The extra 300 is a very agile and fast plane. I have a flight simulator of mine that has the 300 and it is wicked to fly. Just wish that my dad would give me permission to buy my cub so I could enlarge my hanger.

Stuntkid, how old are you? Higgsonbosonman is now 16 ( but not online with us at the mo..)
Just wondering as the oldest member is renard80, who's 79? ( I think? but needs updating to renard120 at least!)
