A little while back my wing on my Skyfly 2 got split in 2. When I was flying it today I realized that my wing still bent upwards. I was thinking about adding some wing struts to help keep the wing down. Do you guys think it will work? I will get back once I test it out. Thanks, Stuntkid

Probably not well. See my other posting on a better repair. Once these wings get a crease in them they are weak and will fold up. Even if you can't see a break an aggressive move like a powered loop can fold the wing. I've done it. Yep, ugly to just stand there and watch it spiral in. Stuck in the mud like a lawn dart. Best option is a new wing and a good strapping tape job on the underside and leading edge BEFORE damage occurs. I have a new wing but just keep flying the old repaired on. The Aerobird has a nasty stall tendency at low speed and can end up cartwheeling on the wing/tail/wing.....so why bother wrecking a new wing. Read post #5 for an excellent discourse on repairing that style of wing: Wing Repair for Dummies radiocontrolzone.com/showthread.php?t=169160And this is good boom repair info: Aerobird 3 Tail boom repair kit www.wattflyer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44167
