Hello everyone! ;D I have an original SC from 2007 that is all stock. I was out of the hobby for a few years, but I am starting up again. I broke my first prop and wanted to upgrade to something more durable. I have read about the gws 10 x 8 HD prop, as well as a gws 10 x 6 EP prop. I'm looking for a bolt on replacement that doesn't need to be modified. I don't know the hole size of the original prop, nor the size of the hex bolt. Can someone please help me with this?

Or even a MAS 10 x 8.

A different prop that you don't have to modify in some way may not be possible. It's a 4mm shaft and bolt. Original NiMh prop is a 10x8 slow fly.
The GWS HD (skinny straight blade) props are more suited to lipo (higher voltage=higher RPM). If you are still using NiMh you likely want a slow fly (fat blade).
GWS SF 10x8 will work with NiMh and is cheap. It' is also flexible and would need the 3mm hole reamed out. It will NOT work well with lipo as it is too flexible for the increased RPM.
Be aware that a 'more durable prop' merely passes the impact on to other parts of the power plant > shaft, motor mount, firewall. Sometimes you really would rather break the prop.

Thank you so much for the input!!! The transfer of energy to something else makes total sense. I'm going to stick with the stock props. I've only broken one, but I had 3 spares. So, now I'm going to buy a couple more to keep on hand. ;D

The stock prop for NiMh use is actually about as well as you can do. PZ does their homework. It's only drawback really is being more expensive. OTOH, it does fit without hassles, more than can be said about a majority of prop applications.
