I just bond my DX6i to my cub all ok the ? I have is other then battery port used to bind what else is that port used for.

Clear english, please. And you Bind your DX6i to the reciever on the plane, not the cub itself (pedantic I know, but true.) The BIND slot on your RX is for that, or power (if not connected to an ESC- basically power on all the time). It has no other function.
