Just wanted to post that I got my Super Cub LP yesterday, and had a lovely dead calm evening to try her out...four separate takeoffs and landings at a nearby field, and everything went GREAT. A small grass stain on the bottom of the cowling is the only sign of wear. Not bad for a total newbie, but I have to say that reading all the posts from you guys ahead of time was really priceless. I am totally hooked now, and cannot wait to go fly her again.

Excellent. What kind of "field" do you have for flying?

Your UK bias is showing. The fields here, for example, are still brown, or worse, brown and under water. A green one ;-D......wellcome to the club bigred

And unless folk put their precise location in their Profile ( PLEASE!), we can only guess at where they're from. ;D Welcome aboard, bigred, and congratulations on your first flights. (BUGGER! Just noticed that bigred (Michael) actually put MA in his first post, which shoots me down. But I'd still like to see him - and everyone - amend their Profile to permanently show where they live.)

Well, now that I look around, while the farmers' fields are brown, the "soccer" fields here are brilliant green.
So is Fenway, for sure.
