Significantly better. The model memory alone is worth it, let alone dual rates and expo.

Hang onto the DX5e for a buddy box if you think you might be teaching anyone.

LOL no awhile back the tv people wanted to do a special promotion
thing on the show in town but the town did not want them to anyway
as far as the DX6i goes I'm very happy I got it been up all night
playing with it might just have to buy more BNF planes & helicopters
not the BNF helis to small into 450 size or bigger just need to find the
best Rx to get for them

Coast guard, Get one! Has everything you'll ever need....However....If you can, get the 2010-11 version...why?? Because on the earlier versions, the trim tabs break, due to un-reinforced thin plastic being used on this most important feature! HZ are aware of this, and will re-place any broken tabs free of charge, however, they only replace them with the same trashy tabs that came with the original. It may be worthwhile ( cos you are in The US) getting these: www.eastrc.org/estoretrimtab1.htmShipping to the UK is stupid, but mainland US, you should be OK. I fixed mine myself, but, at the end of the day, why should I? ( Only did it 'cos I don't like the 6 week turn around, and shipping at my expense!) F.OFF! HZ! It's your design fault, and you know it!)
