Hi folks, Here's a question for you............... I've just finished building my 2nd plane, both use channel 4, out of curiosity, I connected both up to batterys and powered up my TX and tried some inputs........ yip, both planes responded exactly the same, so............ Has anyone ever set out 2 planes in the same situation a few feet apart and tried flying them? I'm just wondering if it would give that instand syncronised flying effect ;D Or here's another possibility, make a 1 peice wing and join the tails and have a VERY large mosquito style plane, equal power at both sides and equal inputs to the control surfaces, anything's possible............ and NO, I'm not trying it first ;D I just wanted to ask

if your throws were set the exact same, and the plan was trimmed out the same and balanced the same they should fly the same. would be cool to see, but i wouldn't try with my plane lol.

The lyrics in Pat Benatar's song "So Sincere" say that:
"Two sparrows tied together will always fall..."

hey Cyber, I am asking myself the same exact question. I now have 2 channel 4 SC, and i wonder the same thing. I am so tempted to try it. However, after going through all the repairs from my first bad crash, i am hesitant to try anything that risky.

it's very unlikely both planes would remain synchronized for more than a few secs. There are too many variations that would affect them and cause them to alter their courses from each other. EG. motor differences, trim differences, etc. One big main wing might work but would probably be hard to control.
