Well, I've had some hard crashes and after the last outing, it's time for some repairs as I prepare to upgrade all the electronics. Here are a few pictures. The cowl, busted a few times: Landing gear, might be able to bend it back: Should have reinforced this on day one: Lip in front of wing, totally gone: Wing isn't in bad shape: Don't know if you can see it well, but the fuse is bent on the port side: Also, the cause of these crashes was discovered. The tail is loose, so when I wand elevator, sometimes the tail just pivots, same with rudder, making it much less predictable and responsive. Gonna have to reinforce that as well. Lots of work to do before she flies again. Any advice, particularly on the bent fuselage?

My fuselage is bent in exactly the same place. Doesn't seem to affect the plane's performance. May I suggest you cover your cowl completely in transparent packing tape? Mine has survived many crashes since I taped it. Remember not to cover the holes in the cowl.

Good to know about the fuse being bent, I was kinda of the mind that I'd just leave it and see how it goes, plenty of other things to worry about. I was thinking reinforced titanium based on the way I fly, but I'll give packing tape a try. ;D

What a mess. All ready to be cleaned up and have new life breathed into her though. I have a paint scheme all picked out too, well, it'll be econocote with decals.
