I think the entire gearbox is < $9, no? Doubt you can source that small bearing locally. dave mc

i would buy a hole new gearbox, then you would have spare parts lol. or use the other gear box to start a brushless motor mount.

You are right that the replacement gearbox is affordable. In fact, I just ordered one along with some other parts I needed. It wasn't the cost I was concerned about as much as buying a whole assembly to get one small part. I've rationalized buying the whole gearbox figuring that I need something else from the assembly after one of my upcoming spectacular crashes. Oooooo...I just received the suggestion about the brushless motor mount. I'm feeling much better about this already.

its nice to use the gear box as a base because when you use it and the stock fire wall you retain your thrust angles.
