I spent about 3 hours flying (not continuous) over the weekend. There were no major accidents ( I bumped a lamp pole and recovered nicely if I do say myself ), and went through 3 batteries. On Sunday I actully used the battery to lvc. That was a bit of a freakout. Landed safely with no damage. Did ROGs on Saturday, VERY PRETTY ;D. The tail came up almost immediately and was airborne in about 20 feet. The landing on the infield was pretty good too. I still have to remember to take the camera. Oh well...Still just circles etc, nothing fancy. Andrew

Glad you enjoyed it Andrew. Just wanted to give you a heads up when you hit something like a goalpost or lamp post: Inspect the wing carefully where it hit. Sometimes it can cause a fracture in the foam you may not notice which then leads to further weakening and then failure of the wing there. It happened to me, although I don't know how likely it is. Just a FYI. dave mc

Thanks for the heads up Dave. I gave it the once over right after it happened. I'm not sure where it hit the pole,no dents, cracks, or marks that I could see. The plane just wiggled so I think I may have just brushed it with the wingtip.
