You are going to have to learn about things like crows and airbrakes now.

Hahaha, yeah right! Which one, the Spit or the Mossie? I'll see you in, erm, about 10-15 years when you've built it! ;D The vid of the one fitted with the torquemaster sounds lovely, shame the numpty who was flying it couldn't miss the fence! Mick Reeves, drool-worthy models..........

Just out of curiosity......which bits of your ultra complicated ( you can tell I'm jealous, can't you? ), super fabulistic spektrum DX8 are you going to need to fly your supercub? I'm dying to know....Throttle? Elevator? Rudder? Ailerons? GASP! Not.... flaps? 200 notes for flaps? Naahhh.....ermm....Dropping bombs? Oh, I know, maybe it's sonic combat of some form.... Or maybe......ooh, maybe...it's dropping parachutes.... that would probably need a super computer....... Point me in the direction of a cheap dx6i, and the sarcasm stops ( and no mention of evilbay please ....) ;D

Well Toff, at present, nothing on my cub, but shortly, the 3 position flaps as well as the servo speed for them....Now if you wanna talk about my CMP Spitfire, pop over to RCGroups. To be fair if you have the T6EAP I wouldnt bother trading it for a DX6i as you mention everything you need for your Cub it can do. I only traded my T6EAP for a DX6i because at the club I joined (who might I add are an extremely friendly welcoming bunch ) they wanted to know I had a recognised full range TX in order to be covered by my BMFA insurance. I simply wanted to upgrade while my DX6i had any value, I got back what I paid for it. (So essentially £70 for flaps, come come we can all do that on a friday night compared to the hours of pleasure my DX8 will bring) Theres plenty more on here have better radios than my shiny new kn0bs aplenty DX8 but fly Cubs (Well at least 2, including our Lord and Master SCC himself who uses JR kit) I hope this helps. I honestly think if you're upgrading from a T6EAP then sell an organ and go the route I have and get some cheapo clone RXs for the time being. Anyway, I must get back to polishing my kn0bs. Oh and did I forget, I just love new toys! Oh and also WTF has it got to do with you what I spend my cash on! Jeez worse than my missus! John

Hmm, I can see my handbag. I agree, what you spend your cash on is up to you. Apologies, it was meant tongue in cheek. Please, whatever I say on the forum is usually not meant in anyway seriously, and if it is, I tend to point it out. I don't actually care that you have a DX8 ( Did I mention that I'm slightly....a lot... jealous?) Yes the T6eap is a good radio, however, as I've said a few times, I've had lost signal and signal lock out, , which has resulted in crashes, so I'd like a 'good' TX, hence the DX6i reference, especially since I now have the Radian, and as spring/ summer comes, the site I fly from has 'boomer' thermals. I need a good radio. If I offended, I do truly apologise. If it's a wind up, get your hand bag ready! ( as your down south, it has to be a big handbag! ;D )
