I've managed to come up with a simple way to replace the square, white plastic plate that acts as the frame for the battery door. Neither the battery box nor the battery plate can be bought as replacement parts, so if you break it you're options are to either make one yourself or buy a new fuselage.
My plate broke because that's where the landing gear struts bolt on to, and since my landing gear struts are aluminium it transferred significantly more force to the plate than the stock thin plastic ones, so it just broke it over time.
I've found the best place to find a similar material to make a replacement out of is to use the lid from a heavy duty bucket. I've seen them as the lids for big 10L mayonnaise buckets, and the lids for a powdered body building supplement my brother buys by the truckload.
Just trace around the old one, cut it out with some good scissors or an exacto knife, and mark out where the holes need to be. Poke some tiny holes in it for the landing gear struts, tap them with the landing gear strut screws, drill some 2.5mm holes for the other screws and you have your very own home made replacement battery plate :-)

That's a really good idea. I'm sure mine will break sooner or later. As usual, thanks for the help.
