Depron, various places. If you want a lot you can get it from a few builder suppliers (under-floor insulation). If you only want to build a few planes then there are some model shops that do it, a good starting point is here. Alternatively do a search on Ebay, there are people who supply a few sheets (some with carbon rods too within the same package) or you can do what I did and found someone who'd laid a new floor and had some excess. £1 a sheet, BARGAIN!

Depron is stiff but brittle. The stiffness helps make it light, precise, and needs less carbon rod stiffening.
BUT- if you are just getting into 3D and or crashing a bit I'd shy away from depron and get EPP. It is a lot tougher and crash resistant.

Like what uv built ginginho is that from depron?how does it hold up in crashes? Yep they are depron. The small one (Mach3) nosed in when it got flipped by the wind on approach, it snapped the nose due to the momentum carried by the battery, although it's still in place due to the tape that was applied. So in answer to your question, not particularly well. It has a little give but isn't so good in an impact. Answer? Don't crash! ;D

Is depron foam sandwiched between thin plastic? Nope. If you get pizzas from the supermarket, often these are backed by a foam disc about 2mm thick, which is (or as near as can be) depron.
