Better domain name?

So I was at my local field this morning where I fly every Sunday morning with about 20 other Electric flyers. I am by far the newest to RC out there but they are all really helpfull and like to give me hints. (Like I went out to the runway this morning and it was windy like 6-8 MPH winds and Roger says be carefull cause its windy out here. You should always take off and land into the wind. So he pointed me to where I should be taking off from and I was off. Then all the dog fighter guys went up and there were about 5 of the foamy war birds up there fighting with the streamers attatched to their planes. Anyways I am flying up high as to stay out of their way and doing circles so they can predict where I am heading.

Yadda Yadda Yadda, About 5 minutes into my flight a guy comes up and asks what channel I am on. I said ahh, its a hobby zone channel so probably no where near what you are. He said ohh, what hobby zone channel is it? I said channel 1. He said awesome I am on channel 6 so we can fly together. So he takes off and I realize he is flying a SC as well!!! YAY!!! So we did circles around the field together and just followed eachother in the air for a few minutes and my plane started to glitch! Uggh. It would like not let me turn for a split second and then give me control again. Then again, and again as I was on my way down for a quick landing. I got the plane down but it was a ROUGH landing. Kinda of like a sideways cartwheel. NO dammage but I am nervouse about flying again because of that. Anyways I talked to the guy and he was using 8-cell batteries and man what a difference that makes. He was doing loop after loop after loop. Makes me want to go buy one right now! lol

OK - Now for the part that goes with this thread title. After chatting with him for a while I wanted to tell him about the SC forums you guys have here. I couldnt remember the dang URL. I should have told him just to do a search for Super Cub CLub Forums or something close and hopefully that would turn it up. I doubt he frequents RCU so that would have been even harder to explain how to find the link from within there..

I vote to register a better Domain Name. Maybe you could take donations from all of us here and register a good domain name or something???

i just checked godaddy and hzsupercub.com is open. wouldnt be hard just set up a redirect to kick it over to the old addy.

few bucks a year to keep the domain, and if you use a service to do the redirect then that may also cost alittel.

SUPERCUBCLUB.COM is available! I would be willing to throw a few bucks towards a good cause. Any body else? Not sure how actually started this forum but its a great idea and seams to be taking off and worth some effort. I have experience building websites and could offer a hand if need be. (Off to the suggestions threads)
