I just thought I would throw this mod out there in case anyone wants to give it a try. I have upgraded to brushless so I don't know how the wheels work on on the stock setup, but they are very light. I recently put together a Multiplex Fun Cub and have been using the 4.5" EPP wheels on my SuperCub. They are great and help a good deal taking off on grass. The axle fits perfectly. They are the lightest wheels I have used to date.

go to photo bucket, create an account, upload your picture, then get the IMG code for your uploaded picture.
Paste the IMG code into your message, and the once you click on post (or preview) your picture will appear wherever you paste in the code.

Obviously the land gear is not pressed in all the way, but the wheels work great. The landing gear is bigger than the stock. I believe it came off a parkzone plane. I had to flatten out the distal bend in the gear to make the axel long enough. The wheels work great and I highly recommend them. They are lighter than a previous mod I made. Drag not really a factor, but I am using a brushless motor, not the stock motor in the picture. I bought a set of wheels for my brother's supercub and he had no problems using the stock motor.

hey bartley - I haven't found a place where I can buy these wheel separately. Where did you get yours? I currently run some Du-Bro 3.25" smothies, but they are way heavy.... Thanks
