Both these brands of batteries are causing me a bit of grief, namely in the fact that the balance charge leads seem to be 'mini', rather than standard size, and my Imax B6 won't charge them! Is there a converter or something, as the thought of having to re-wire 5 packs is making me miserable. Help!

HK has converters. I think these guys do too. www.rcaccessory.com/They also publish this which will be of use: www.rcaccessory.com/pdf/Battery%20Tap%20Configuration%20Guide.pdfAs you have learned, there is no standardization in balance taps. Seems every $#$##@@ battery maker uses their own in a frustrating attempt to trap you into using their product. There is absolutely no other need for doing this. Those are supposed to be superior lipos but I won't use them just because of that.

The only reason I have them is an ebay auction for 5. 4 thunderpower and 1 flightmax evo, all 2200mah, and all minimal use, for the bargain price of 34 GBP inc postage! ($54.92). They seem fine, 25c normal, 35c climbout (whatever that is), and 50c burst ( up to 110 amps), but the lack of standard charging has taken the shine off a little.

Nothing is 'standard'. It's just not quite as common. Those should be great batteries if not abused. Way better than Turnigy. Just find the conversion and buy it. There's a board for the B6 I'm sure.
