Hi everyone, throttle control of my RC transmitter broke and I don't think it makes sense to glue it together Now I am looking for a new one and I need help choosing make and model. As for requirements I am still improving my flight skills on a slightly modified Hobbyzone Piper Super Cub. Given it survives more rough landings, I was thinking of modding it and maybe adding some flaps eventually. Regarding a new radio transmitter would be the best choice in your opinion? Given you're in the UK, I'd recommend Giantcod.co.uk, and buying the radiolink 2.4 ghz set (6 channel) for 55 pounds, add 4 sg90 servos, and a 30 amp brushed esc off ebay, and you've got a full radio set you can use in your supercub ( and other planes ) for less than a ton. I've had my setup for the last 6 months or so, and it's brilliant! Quoted range is 800 metres, but I've had planes further than that - Speck in the sky sort of thing - and no problems at all - except with my nerves!

lol I was thinking of actually gluing it but it does not seem to be wise. I rather have controls I can trust

Fine TX, cheap, works OK (I have one for my Radian)
BUT- NO other functions (no dual rates, no expo, no sub-trim, no mixing) AND -NO MODEL MEMORY!!! It is essentially a one model TX unless you are willing to mess around a bunch between each model.
Believe me, you will want those functions even if you can't figure out why right now.

nice find. they must be competing with HK, with that low pricing on the Spektrum DSM2 bundle.
