I have strated using TSG Sport 10 x 7 propeller in my Super Cub with the stock motor and LIPO set up. It seems a much better compared to the stock and even the APC propeller. Excellent performance with vertical climbs. I hope it is not drawing too much current.

Only one way to find out for sure. Hook up a wattmeter to it. Something all of us should have.

The wattmeter and optionally a thrust stand is the only way you know amp data for sure. This is the best I could find out: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=987946&page=3See post #37, maybe read the whole thing. If efficiency is better you may be getting something for 'free'. If not then you are just hastening the demise of some components by pushing them harder It hasn't bit you ....... yet. |
