I'm not a very happy bunny at the moment. Oy veh! What a day! Took planes out for a bit of a fly about ( Depron A-10 and supercub). Managed to tree the A-10! Unfortunately, it's about 60 ft up, and firmly lodged in. No way of retrieving it, so thats a 2200 lipo, 30 amp esc, 3 servos and a good brushless motor lost. Put it down to experience, move off to another ( treeless) site, up and flying in the cub, nice and relaxing. Bring it in for landing, nice and floaty, and at about 15ft off the ground, it turned turtle for no reason, and nosed in! ARRRRGHHH!!! ( I think my 2.4ghz radio lost link for a second) Thankfully the only damage seems the be a smashed prop and a totally destroyed cowl ( now made my own out of depron). Not a good day.

Regarding your problem with the plane stuck in the tree, I would recommend going to your local firehouse and asking if they might be able to help you out when they're not busy sometime. Firemen can get pretty bored when they're sitting around the station waiting to be called out somewhere, and often they won't mind doing that sort of thing as long as you're nice about it. You can always offer them a carton of beer to sweeten the deal too. I've had the fireies get my plane out of a tree before: supercubclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sccgeneral&action=display&thread=2674There are ladders that can easily make it to the height where your cub is stuck: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h3bhobQdr8&feature=related

You must have some really friendly firemen where you are, Dill. UK firemen would likely say "**** ***!" or words to that effect! Also the tree is in a paticularly difficult place to get to: Doh!!
