my first video! yipee!

my first video-taped flight, which unfortunately had to be cut short due to extreme wing flexing. my struts had broken during an impact with a bill board. my mom was the camera person, although she rarely shoots videos of stuff.

20mph winds, flexing wings AND a safe landing! I'd say that was pretty cool. You're lucky your mom shoots videos for you. I have to ask my 11 year old daughter to be cameraman most of the time!

I solved the issue of a cameraman by attaching my video camera to the top of my motorcycle helmet with Velcro. It took a while to get the angle correct but after awhile I got it so wherever I look is almost the center of the screen. The first part of this video is with the small mini DV camera attached to my plane. About halfway through the video I switch over to my Sony HD Camcorder attached to the helmet.

It was a very windy day.
