my super cub is in pieces at the moment, puting all upgrades on hold. i was flying my plane at a small clinic my dad works at in 15-20 mile per hour winds, and was having no problem at all. it wobbled a bit, but altitude cures crappy piloting. i was coming in to land, and i was flying at about 10 to 20 feet, and my mom makes me loose my focus, because i was in the way of a car trying to park. in the two seconds i took to turn my head away, my plane was thrown sideways at full power into a billboard, smashing in my new prop adaptor ($6), breaking my main wing's trailing edge (beyond repair) ($25), and plowing it into the bushes. my mom said that we could get parts soon  i've also been waiting for 70 bucks in lawn mowing money since june, so i'm not expecting to get airborne again any time soon. so to everybody flying their plane! wear hearing protection! |

the wing is fixable
and i just put on the old prop and stuff.
i don't know when i'll get my money though:P

out of curiosity Higgs, how old are you?
I can't say I know too many people that know what a Higgs Boson particle is, AND needs permission from their mom to get super cub parts.

i'm 15!
i read a lot and got a book called "the egghead's guide to the universe".
i knew about a lot of particles, though, since middle school (i made a cartoon called "Higgsbosonman" to pass the time. school's really boring)
i showed my mom your posts and she couldn't stop laughing.

I'd like to think it was my thread on "how I got my cub back" but somehow I doubt it.

Particle physics requires much more brain capacity than mine allows for. Although I am intrigued by some advanced physics I could never begin to understand particle or quantum physics. I strain my brain (there's a rhyme) by just thinking about it.  |

BUMP!
after five hours of mowing lawns (1st one wasn't bad. 2nd one was 6 inches tall and i got 20+ bags of grass off of it), i bought the parts my self, with money to spare for a cheap flight camera.
still waiting for my parents to pay me for all the money they owe me...

what flight camera did you get.
I'd highly recommend the keyfob spy cameras sold on ebay, they're only 15 bucks, then you have to spend another 15-25 on a memory card for it.

i haven't ordered it yet, but it's the turnigy one on hobbyking. i'm not going to order it until they come out of backorder.
i think it's one similar to the one on "Aces High".
