great news, indeed!
Flying on a proper radio, is so much better than the HZ transmitter, with it's "wrong" joystick setup.

Well, since my last post, number of flights attained = 0.  Work, crappy weather, and family outings have meant no time at all for any form of flying. I'm getting pissed tonight (with friends), then day off, so as long as I shift the hangover, and the weather is fine, I'll have time to fly tomorrow (have to be my own cameraman though!). Thank you all for the encouragement, help, and support. It really is appreciated! If I ever feel like giving up, I'll ask here first, and you can all kick my A..., and tell me not to be stupid. |

Sorry, shoulda said drunk (I'm not angry with anyone at the mo). Any-hoo, re-maiden of the cub today (no video, due to not finding the camera  ) flies just fine, and the new 2200 lipo lasted for ages. Not that impressed though - stupidly windy, the odd bit of drizzle, and the 9x4 prop I'm using has no oomph to it. ROG's no problem, but landings tricky due to strong gusts, and the struts kept popping off mid air (next mod on my list). All done with a monumental hangover! (didn't finish until 2am and a ridiculous amout of beer drunk.) |
