prepareing the super man super cub need help

ok i'm using super man colors red and blue...i had pre painted with the spray paint i'll being using on a old fuse and it worked out well..but heres my problem i want to paint the top of my wing red and the bottom blue...and i'm not sure how to keep the over spray from getting on either side...so i tried a piece of blue painters tape on the old fuse i tested and it peeled some of the paint that had been on there for a week off...dam..any ideas how i can do it with no over spray..i would like to make this look clean i'm gonna do the whole fuse blue..the tail red and the cowl red...then try and find a couple super man stickers if i can lol....i've also read alittle on here when to paint or tape...i would like to use packing tape on the front wing edges to keep them nice you know what happens even on a bad landing and you bump the edge of that wing without packing tape it will tear out a chunk... alittle help please

i'll be using red and blue krylon fusion for plastics just to let you know

If you paint the centre of the wing where the rubber bands cross the opposite colour to the rest of the wing, it would look more like superman as it could kinda look like the pants (Y fronts/underwear) were on the outside like a real super hero! Just a thought! ;D
