What is it about the SC?

I have flown several planes and have an extensive collection. However there is only one plane that always and I mean always goes tot he field with me....regardless how many others I take along, the SC is always there. It always flies like a dream and lands without incident. I have modded it as far as I can (so far) and never get bored with it. I needed to see if anyone else is as easily pleased with it as I am. How many of you take it everytime? I have about 30 different planes and like I said only 1 is static. So my question is WHY? What is it about the SC that has my heart? It seems like others are more fun and responsive but ............? Peace and happy flying, Kevin

As I only have 1 plane I'm not really qualified to answer this post but I can say why I love the super cub.

It goes where I want it to go. Very rarely does it do something that I didnt' expect.

I can fly it in the backyard yet it is fast enough that its not just floating around.

It is fun to mod.

Kids love it.

Looks like a real airplane not some stick with a wing on it.

Has enough lift you can carry stuff with it.

It takes some serious abuse and keeps flying.

mrmugen..The reason most of us love this plane, is because we bought it as something to learn with. It was released as a RTF trainer..that "evryone can learn to fly" ! Looking at the SC post here and elsewhere..that point can't be argued! I can appreciate though, that a lot of you with other planes and lots of experience, can still fall in love with this plane. Makes us newbies even more proud of our decision to buy one!

I have to add something else it fits in my car. try putting a 50 pound 12 foot long B-25 into an Oldsmobile and you will appreciate the SC!
