was a bit windy and i did something i know should not have done...why do i know that i'll i'm sitting waiting for a chace to go up...then get out in in front of everybody and try a roll to close to the ground in in 7 mph wind...why i did that i have no clue but i did hit the runway nose first full speed...really blew out the fuse. forget the motor mount prop and cowl...even put a big split in the wing...60 bucks later i needed new servos rx board motor and mount..luck i already had another fuse...why i was trying to impress people who have been flying for 20 years with houses full of planes while i'm standing there with my stock cub lp doing rolls in the wind..major stupid move...idk why i do things till there done sometimes !!!

...idk why i do things till there done sometimes !!! I'm with you there. Like knowing something is wrong and still launching your plane over and over until you finally catch a breeze or thermal or something that carries you up to about 150ft then drops you into a death spiral. Not that that's ever happened to me or anything. So you going to rebuild better and stronger? What are your plans?

How were you rolling a stock super cub? Without ailerons I didn't think it was possible to do a roll.
It's worth practicing the "slow roll" on a simulator until you can keep the plane straight, you learn to mix in rudder when it's on it's side, elevator when it's upside down, then rudder the other way when it rolls on it's other side.
