Well so far I just use one of my Silverado's. I have two extended cab P/U's. This summer I plan to buy a covered trailer for r/c's. I need a mobile shop for track racing anyway so I figured I will just go a lil bigger and fit planes in the floor plan too.

I put mine in the front seat of the pickup. Doesn't fit very well and my dog can't go. If the kids want to go along I have to take the minivan

I'm waiting fore my Renault Clio to be delivered, its small but the SC will fit with the back seats folded down. At the moment i walk to the beach to fly. I put the SC in a refuse bag, so if i have a bad crash i've got something to bring the bits home... ;D

My 82 Buick Hearse. The best vehicle in world to transport model airplanes in. better gas mileage that a pickup,ac, heat, radio, cushy seat, power everything. Rides smooth as silk= less hanger rash on the planes More room than a van= my Ziroli 118" B-25 fits with room to spare curtains in the back= stays cool in the summer and hides you valuble planes from would be thieves bier pins (what hold the casket) = can just as easily hold you plane from moving and are adjustable. casket rollers= slide in a big wing with out a helper and without draging it on the floor. extra compartments= perfect for batteries chargers and parts raised casket table= perfect work bench and you don't have to bend down. full lights= work on your plane at night rear heat and ac= no more working on my planes in the elements big doors=to get the planes in and out with out dings short of a motor home gutted and made into a mobile hobby room, I don't think there is a better ride for my planes. My cub sits in the rear with each wingtip on the plush ledges on the sides and the front wheels are just touching the floor. I tie the wheels down to bier pin latched in one of the holes in the floor. Last week I had 2 cubs, a PZ p-51, a GWS dc-3 and a cessna 182 all in the car sitting right side up and tied down completely assymbled with the wings and all. I still had room for 2 more planes. If you look to the front right you can see the floor does not go to the door. I set all the transmitters in that "cubby hole" a perfect fit. Everything has a place where it won't move araound in this car.

my 'cubs ride is not quite so exciting - only my arm to travel round to the fields at the back of my house!

I just walk out my back door, Across my back yard, out the back gate...down a path I mowed in the tall weeds , and poof: I am at my flying spot. It is on a part of my housing development with no trees and only a couple houses seperated by empty lots. Houses are being built so dont know how long it wil last.

SCC, where are you getting a Renault Clio from? I haven't found a single dealer in the US... not even for an Opel or Peuguot.

I trek around my SC in a '93 Saturn L200 Sedan. I set the back seats down and drive 30+ miles to my buddy's house to go flying. I can fly closer to home, but its more fun when a bunch us of all has the same plane (on different freq's).
